Here at Leith Volkswagen of Cary, we are more than a car dealership. We are a family, a member of the Leith Automotive Family, and consider the community around us our extended family. We’re always looking for ways to give back and do what we can to help those in need.
We are currently partnering with the Holly Springs Food Cupboard and are hosting a food drive. Now through Saturday, Nov. 14, stop by the dealership and drop off any nonperishable items. They can be dropped off in our sales showroom or our service department.
An abundance of items are needed for the food drive, including:
- Jelly
- Broth/gravy
- Cereal
- Canned fruit
- Small bowls/canned fruit with easy-to-open lids (these go into the children’s lunch bags)
- Canned meats
- Small canned meat like tuna and Vienna sausages (these go into the children’s lunch bags)
- Canned beans
- Sides such as instant potatoes, stuffing, flavored rice and pasta, and Hamburger Helper
- Peanut butter
- Crackers
- Small containers of shelf-stable milk (these go into the children’s lunch bags)
- Toilet paper
Donations of toiletry items, clothes detergent, baby diapers and baby food are also accepted during this food drive.
